Transformation is named thus because it is symbolic of the

At just under 14 inches in length, this wand is quite heavy compared to
most wands. No only is it made from one of the hardest and
heaviest of all hardwoods, but it also bears the weight of a Lapis
Lazuli stone in its handle as well as a large, faceted, natural quartz
crystal at the tip. The seamless integration of this crystal with
the black ebony wood is truly the highlight of this work of art.
The crystal appears to have simply grown out of the wood, each angle
matched perfectly.
