This style of shirt was popular in the Renaissance period, but
many people now may know it better as "The Pirate
Shirt" due to the use of this style in pirate
movies. The shirt features very roomy, puffy
sleeves pleated at the shoulders, a lace-up front (10 metal
rivets and a genuine leather cord), a collar, and button
fastened cuffs. These shirts are made to hang much longer
than modern styles, and have a short slit up the base of each
side of the shirt.
