Peace. The name says it all. 13.5 inches long, crafted from
an amazing, slightly curved, cream-colored branch of hazel, and set with
chrysocholla and peridot stones in addition to a sterling silver band,
this wand is truly unique. The energy of it can be felt across the
room!
Hazel wood is a remarkable material for the creation of wands.
Unlike many other wood types, hazel does not grow to be very thick,
instead growing in long, slender branches. For this particular
wand, a slightly weathered branch was chosen. There are two small
cracks still visible by the handle stone (though they have been filled
for the greatest possible strength). The branch also had a very
gentle curve from end to end, which was preserved in the wand.
Hazel wood is very connected to the emotions, a soothing, creative
energy. It allows a person to set aside hurts of the past, to move
forward to the greatest possible potential.
Peace has been set with two beautiful stones. In the handle is a
brilliant blue chrysocholla with complex surface patterns.
Chrysocholla is a soothing stone, used for meditation, healing, and love
spells. This stone calms the emotions, bringing about peace in the
mind and spirit. In the tip of the wand is a striking green
peridot. Peridot soothes emotions, especially anger, and promotes
relaxation. It is also an amazing healing stone.
The final touch that sets this wand apart from all others is the elegant
sterling silver band set between the handle and the shaft. Silver
is a metal long associated with magic and the moon. It is a strong
feminine energy, a Goddess energy, that promotes intuition, nurturing,
and positive emotions.
