Mortars and Pestles are incredibly handy to have. A
mortar and pestle is not only useful in the kitchen, but more
so for the Witch who likes to make his or her own incense
blends. This particular mortar is handmade by Aspen
Goldentree, Glen's mother, out of stoneware, so you can crush
not only loose herbs, but small stones as well. The
pestle is made of poplar wood, and adorned with a brown
leather cord to be easily hung near your altar or in your
kitchen. What is unique about our mortar and pestle, is
that you won't find this combination anywhere else on the
internet. Stoneware and wood, the two constants here at
Goldentree Wands.
Our mortar has about a 3 1/2 inch opening and is approximately
2 1/2 inches deep. These specifications are approximate
since this is a handmade item. The accompanying pestle
is 7 inches in length.
