Handfasting and Wedding Cloaks

Our handfasting and wedding cloaks are a beautiful design unique to Goldentree Wands. We use over 14 yards of velvet and crepe satin, with jacquards trim and spiral piping, to create the fullest and most luxurious wedding and handfasting cloaks available anywhere! These cloaks are sized to fit you, and customized to your height.

We want your wedding or handfasting to be the beautiful experience that it should be, and a cloak makes a perfect addition to almost any wedding attire. Especially for weddings and handfastings that are outdoors when there is a bit of a chill in the air, these cloaks will keep you warm as well as make you look stunning!

Size Guide

Our cloaks currently come in two different sizes, which are determined by your chest, waist, and hip size (measured around). In addition, the cloaks can then be custom tailored to your specific height requirement. In other words, height does not affect "size" in the sense of most garments.

The sizing for our cloaks is as follows (measurements in inches):

Small: Chest 31-37 Waist 24-29 Hip 34-39

Large: Chest 38 and up Waist 30 and up Hip 40 and up

If you are uncertain about the measurements, we recommend ordering a large. These are such flowing, sweeping garments that a large will look good on just about anyone (Willow is a very petite, 5'4" woman and she is wearing a large cloak in many of the photos).

We say that the large fits certain sizes "and up" simply because the way a cloak sits on the body ensures that it will fit pretty much anyone, but may rest on some body shapes differently than others. perhaps that is why it was such a wildly popular garment throughout human history.

When placing your order, please include both size and height. It is not necessary to include your measurements, just large or small, and your height.
