The witchstones are an ancient Welsh form of divination that has been passed down by word of mouth for generations since well before recorded history. They are seldom, if ever, mentioned in books and very rarely practiced. The witchstones are comparable to the tarot cards in many respects, in that you may ask a question and receive an answer, or get a general reading about a person or subject of interest. The difference is, instead of using a deck of cards, the reading is made through a set of stones, 13 stones to be exact. Each stone in the set represents a specific planetary energy or life force. The reading is made by throwing the stones and determining the answers through their specific location in the spread and their relation to one another.

Witchstone reading is far more complex than it sounds, and takes a great deal of practice and energy work to get accurate results. These questions can be as general or as specific as you like, but more specific questions will always result in more specific answers. We do not expect you to divulge embarrassing aspects of your life or anything that makes you uncomfortable (though this service is completely confidential). But more information is always helpful to focus in on the exact information you are seeking. Try to be as specific as possible.

SERIOUS QUESTIONS ONLY PLEASE! When we do readings, we call the elements to aid us and use a great deal of energy, both personal and of the surrounding world. As such, we will not insult the powers that aid us, or our own skills, by asking foolish questions. We are not here to advise you on whether or not you should get your hair cut, if you might win the lotto, or if you should ask that cute coworker out on a date. Please put some thought into your questions, and ask only sincere things that are important to your life. Do not waste this valuable opportunity by asking things that are unimportant.

LIMITATIONS - The stones are a very versatile form of divination, but do have a few limitations. They cannot be used to determine specific names, places, or dates. For instance, we can use the stones to determine many aspects about your past life, events, and energies... but not to tell you what your name was in the past life, nor the date that you were born.

No matter how you wish to schedule your reading the following times and days are not available due to already-existing weekly scheduling conflicts (all times are GMT -7 hours, or "Mountain Standard Time"):

Mondays: Unavailable for readings

Wednesdays: Evenings after 6:00 PM

Thursdays: Evenings after 6:00 PM

On all other days we are available to read from 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Readings by email will be done each week on Sundays regardless of what day they are received.

The most common question we are asked about the readings is, why are they by donation only? Why not set a price for them? The answer is, in Wiccan belief it is unethical to charge someone outright for a magickal service. This is considered abusing a gift that has been given to you by the Goddess. People who do this will usually find that they will lose their gift. It is far better to not charge for the service, and instead allow the one who has received the service to give however much they feel it is worth. In this way, nobody has had their will imposed upon, and those of varying financial status will all receive the same opportunities.

We expect a reasonable donation in return for your reading. While we recognize that this is a very valuable service we offer, we also understand that a "reasonable donation" can mean very different things to people in different situations. To put too high a price on such a thing is to say that only the wealthy are worthy of such a service, which is absurd. Too low a price would be a message to some that the service is not of value, which is equally ridiculous. Instead, we are allowing everyone to put their own value on the readings they receive, based upon their own means. These readings are offered as a community service, and will not be denied to anyone regardless of financial constraints.

No. If you do not place any value on these readings at all, then please do not ask us to do a reading for you. We are asking for donations in return for a reading. If you do get a reading and do not donate, it will be considered the same as stealing. A considerable amount of time and energy goes into these readings. To find a gifted reader is a rare thing, please do not abuse our trust and insult our gifts. Thank you!
