General questions about Goldentree Wands |
| Are all of your items handmade? Yes, with the exception of our candles, silver jewelry, herbs, and stones. All items on this site are handmade by Glen and Willow Goldentree. We know almost every site or shop these days advertises handmade items, even winemakers are saying their wines are "handcrafted." But when we say handmade, we mean fully handmade. Each wand begins as a stick and is shaped by us one chip at a time. Each cloak begins as 14 yards of raw cloth, and every stitch comes from us, not some sweatshop in China. |

| Do you have a physical shop? We do not have a physical shop. Goldentree Wands is an online business only. |
| Do you wholesale your products? At this time we do not offer wholesale simply because our prices are already below normal retail prices. We feel very confident that our products could fetch a higher price than what we sell them for in a brick-and-mortar shop, and have already had success in a few shops around the United States. So, if you are interested in carrying our products in your shop, please feel free to order anything you feel will sell in your shop and we will complete and ship them within a four week period. |

This also enables everyone to make some new acquaintances and feel at home. | Can you drop ship your products to my store? Our most popular items can take up to four weeks for completion, so drop shipping is not currently an option at our shop. |

| What form of payment do you accept? We accept all major credit and debit cards through PayPal, one of the most secure ways to make payments on the web! We also accept cashier's checks and money orders. Sorry, no personal checks. |

Well for one, we never see your credit information. When a payment is made through PayPal, your credit information is hidden and encrypted so that even the payment recipient never sees it. | What if I want to order more than one item? Simply add up to 12 items to your shopping cart. You can then review all of the items before you check out, deleting the ones you do not wish to purchase. Unfortunately, our shopping cart can only hold up to 12 items. | What is your return policy? On any custom item, that is to say items where you select colors or materials, we do not accept returns. This is only because a customized item may only appeal to the one who requested it, and as this shop deals with mostly custom items, selling a return would be nearly impossible. On other items, returns will be evaluated on an individual basis. Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority, and we have never had a problem to date. |
| How long will my order take? Normally, custom orders will take two to four weeks at the very most. However, if we are severely backordered we would ask for your patience as it may take as long as six weeks. Orders will NEVER take longer than six weeks. | Why does my order take so long? None of our custom items are premade in any way. We do not have a warehouse full of cloaks and wooden items of every possible combination and color. After an item is paid for, we begin work on that item ensuring that it meets the exact detail of the order. It is this personal attention and customization that sets us apart from many other internet shops. Of course, a slight drawback of such complete customization is that it may take extra time to receive the item. |
| Do you do rush orders? Rush orders can usually be accommodated for as long as the time frame is somewhat realistic. However, we will evaluate each rush order request individually. If you wish an item rushed, please contact us first to let us know the date you were hoping to have the item by. We will always do our best to meet such requests, but please understand that rush orders may not be available in the months of October, November, and December. |
| I want to pay with a money order, where do I find your address? After all your items have been placed in your shopping cart and you select payment by money order or cashiers check, you will then be presented with a webpage that lists our address and what name to make your money order out to. |

| What service do you ship through? All orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service. They offer the very best national and international rates, and we are happy to pass those savings on to you. We charge only exact shipping to your address, which includes delivery confirmation and insurance. |

If you live outside of the US, shipping takes 3-4 business days plus time in customs. Please be patient and check your confirmation email for an approximate ship date. |

Questions about Wands |
| Do your wands do real magic? Yes, our wands do real magick. They are used to direct and focus energy in ritual magick and spells. This is real magick. This is a Wicca and Pagan shop, not a fantasy or Harry Potter shop. If you wish to buy the wands as costume pieces, we certainly do not mind. But do not expect a wand that you buy here or anywhere else to give you supernatural powers. Wands will not levitate feathers with a swish and flick, nor will they transfigure your pet rat into a chalice. Real magick is performed with will power, skill, and concentration. |
| Can you add metal work to your wands? No we cannot add metal work to our wands. |
| Can you add a metal wire to the inner core of my wand? No, we are unable to add metal wire to the inner core of your wand. |
| Can you make my wand in a Golden Dawn style? Golden Dawn wands are incredibly specific and larger than the wands we offer. We cannot make a Golden Dawn style wand. |
| You say that your wands are only 12"-13" in length, could you make mine longer? It may be possible to make your wand longer though it will incur an extra charge. This option is not available for all woods. Please contact us for specifics. |
| Why can't I add certain stones to the tip of my wand but I can add them to the handle of my wand? Some stones are only available in larger or smaller sizes. Due to this fact, some stones are simply not small enough or big enough to use as a handle or tip stone. If you had your heart set on a certain stone, please contact us to inquire if there is anyway we can acquire the correct size for you. |
| Can I make my wand from a wood not listed on your website? The woods that can be selected on our custom wands page are the only woods that we have available to us locally. If there is a wood listed on our Magic Properties of Wood page that is not listed on the custom wands page, then it might be possible to make a wand using that wood. Please contact us to find out more. Every once in a while we'll find a new wood to add to our listing, please check back often to see if your desired wood has been added. |
| Can I send you some wood, stones, or other materials to use in the making of a wand? Please contact us so that we can determine this on an individual basis. |
| Where do you get the wood to make your wands? We get all of our wood from suppliers around the US, who have their wood harvested in the most environmentally friendly way. We go to great pains to make sure that we are not contributing to deforestation around the world. |

Questions about Cloaks, Robes, and other costumes |
| Do you make cloaks, robes, etc. in plus sizes? The sizes listed on the "size guide" of our products are the sizes that you get for those particular products. For the cloaks and initiate robes, however, those can accommodate people a little larger than listed since they are very flowing and draping garments. If you're only a couple inches larger than the largest size indicated on the cloak or initiate robe page, you will be safe with ordering the largest size. |

| I saw this great design on another website, could you make it for me? Thank you for considering us for your design, but we do not copy designs from other websites. If you're looking for a common movie costume such as a Jedi or Harry Potter robe, please visit our robe selections, as these have been created to look similar, but not identical, to the costumes seen on various movies. |
| I would like my item made of natural materials, such as wool or cotton, can you do that? Natural materials are actually very difficult to acquire for a low price. We have found decent suppliers of wool and cotton, but please contact us first, as these are very expensive fabrics and are not always available year round. |
| May I just buy the clasp from you? We don't resell clasps, but our friends at Twin Roses Designs do! |
| I don't want a hood on my Initiate Robe or Cloak, can I get a collar instead? We have three different collars to choose from for an additional $5.00. A collar similar to our ritual robe, opera cape, or elegant cloak/coat. Please contact us first to discuss which type of collar you would prefer and to receive your code to add an additional $5.00 to your item. |
| Can you make reversible robes or cloaks? Reversible cloaks will not be a problem. We add a tie closure to your cloak instead of a clasp, and if you'd like a velvet on velvet cloak we could do that as well. Just contact us first to work out the details and pricing. Reversible robes, on the other hand, are not a possibility due to the way this item was designed and is created. |
| Can I see more pictures of your products in the actual fabric colors and choices that you offer? At this time we do not have any extra pictures of fabric colors other than what you see on our website. Please be assured however, that the color swatches we offer are from the fabric manufacturers themselves and not stock photos of the color green or red, for example. At the same time however, all computer monitors display colors differently, so one must always allow room for difference in that respect. If you are trying to match colors for a wedding, we would be happy to accept some fabric swatches from you so that we can match colors to the best of our abilities. |
| I found some amazing fabric, can I send it to you so that you can make a cloak for me out of that fabric? Fabric comes in many different sizes and textures. We do not accept fabric to create a cloak or robe out of, unless we can purchase it ourselves. If you have found a fabric that you like on another website, please send us a link so that we can review this fabric and let you know if we are able to work with it. |
| Can you waterproof my cloak or robe? We do not add waterproofing to any of our products. There are items on the market that you can purchase and add to your cloaks if you'd like, but please note that many of the fabrics we work with are very delicate. |
| I am buying a cloak to wear in the snow, will it keep me warm? That's what cloaks are for! If you're worried about it, our custom lined cloaks will be your best bet for warmth. We suggest deer suede lined with crepe satin as the warmest cloak that we can offer you. |

| Are your altar candles the same color inside as they are on the outside? Yes they are. All of our candles burn the same color inside as they do on the outside. |
| I have a great idea for an item that you don't make yet. We love new ideas! Feel free to share it with us. We don't guarantee that we'll get around to making this particular product in the next year, but we will add it to our list of new product ideas. If this is an item that you are interested in right now, please submit your custom request and we will determine if it is something we are able to create for you. |
| Can you make me a custom designed jewelry or pendant? We can only create pendants out of wood, as we do not work with metals. For custom design jewelry, we can work with hemp and wire. If you have a very specific design in mind, please contact us and we will see what we can do for you. |
| Can you make sterling silver jewelry? We cannot make sterling silver jewelry, but can create a design out of wood for you. Please see the answer above. |
| Do your spell kits really work? We cannot guarantee that these spell kits will work or that they will solve all of your problems. Our spell kits are designed to aid in your own magickal workings. You will see results if you follow through with your magickal requests and rely on yourself to make things happen in your own life. If you don't expect results then you will not receive them. |
