Each of our custom athames is made to your specifications.  You have the ability to choose between thousands of combinations of shapes and colors to create your own personal athame design! 

          Athames are possibly the most important tools of the witch.  When casting a magic circle, athames are used to direct your energy.  Athames are also used during many rituals to symbolically cut through the physical world into the spiritual world.  They are the representation of the masculine in many rituals as well, and are thus associated with the God rather than the Goddess.

          Athames are ritual tools, and should never be used for the cutting of food, flesh, or any other physical substance.  As such, most witches keep their athames dull or use symbolic representations of a knife rather than an actual metal one.  Therefore, wood is a perfect choice for the construction of an athame.  Not only is wood a gift from nature itself, but it cannot be used to cut in the sense of a metal knife.
